Terms of Service

The rules of the road. Please read these terms carefully before using our utilities.

The Short Version (TL;DR)

  • It is Free: Our tools are free to use, but please don't abuse our servers or attempt to reverse-engineer our APIs.
  • You Own Your Data: You retain all copyrights to the documents you upload. We claim zero ownership over your files.
  • No Warranties: We provide these tools "as is." We are not legally responsible if a file conversion fails or if data is corrupted during transit. Always keep backups of your original files.

Welcome to NoreaTools. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NoreaTools website, products, and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Noreatrix Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Description of Service

NoreaTools provides a suite of web-based digital utilities, including but not limited to PDF manipulation tools (merging, splitting, compressing), image converters, and developer formatting tools. These Services are currently provided free of charge, supported by our proprietary cloud infrastructure. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.

2. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the Services to:

  • Upload, process, or transmit any files that contain malware, ransomware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
  • Process documents containing illegal material, child exploitation content, or content that violates the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to bypass, exploit, or reverse-engineer our backend APIs, rate limits, or security infrastructure.
  • Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to interact with our conversion endpoints without prior written authorization from Noreatrix Technologies.
  • Overload our servers with unreasonably large files or excessive concurrent requests intended to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).

Violation of these rules may result in an immediate and permanent ban of your IP address from utilizing our infrastructure.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

We do not claim any ownership rights over the text, files, images, or documents (collectively, "User Content") that you upload to NoreaTools. You retain all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in your User Content. Because of our strict Zero Data Retention architecture, your User Content is processed in volatile memory and permanently destroyed immediately after the operation concludes.

Our Infrastructure

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services (excluding User Content), including the website design, logos, algorithms, and source code, are and will remain the exclusive property of Noreatrix Technologies. You may not use our branding, logos, or domain names without our explicit written consent.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

Your privacy is critically important to us. Our data handling practices, including our commitment to not storing user databases or retaining files, are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. NOREATRIX TECHNOLOGIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no warranty that:

  • The Services will meet your specific requirements.
  • The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or completely error-free.
  • The results obtained from the use of the Services (such as PDF formatting or image compression) will be perfectly accurate or reliable.

Always keep backups of your original files. We are not responsible for any corrupted files or lost data resulting from the use of our conversion tools.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NOREATRIX TECHNOLOGIES, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.
  2. Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services.
  3. Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Noreatrix Technologies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically within the jurisdiction of Telangana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
